Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms govern your use of Aulys, operated by [INSERT LEGAL NAME] (see our Impressum for full identity details). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. Because Aulys grants immediate access to a digital service upon payment, by starting your subscription you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, or once you have started using it, whichever the applicable law requires.
3. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Aulys and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
4. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aulys, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU consumer-protection law.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
7. Governing law
[GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION TO BE FINALIZED ONCE THE OPERATING LEGAL ENTITY IS REGISTERED.] Regardless of the governing law stated here, if you are an EU consumer you retain the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence under Art. 6 of the Rome I Regulation (EC 593/2008), which cannot be waived by contract.
8. Changes
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect.
